Dr. Richard Adu Amoah is a Research Scientist and has worked as a Plant Breeder with the CSIR-Plant Genetic Resources Research Institute (CSIR-PGRRI) since 2019. He holds Ph.D. in Plant Breeding, M.Phil in Agronomy (Plant Breeding) and a B.Sc. in Agriculture from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Kumasi, Ghana. His research priorities are crop germplasm collection, assessment of genetic diversity as well as application of conventional breeding and advanced molecular tools to improve the performance and productivity of crops. Dr. Adu Amoah is a part-time Lecturer at the University College of Agriculture and Environmental Studies (UCAES) at Bunso where he teaches Principles of Advances in Plant Genetics and Breeding, Crops Biotechnology and Crop Root Association. He has twenty-three (24) referred journals publications to his credit all published in very reputable international journals (https://www.researchgate.net/profile/Richard-Adu-Amoah). Dr. Adu Amoah is a member of the CSIR-Research Staff Association and the African Plant Breeders Association and has several national and international training in plant breeding and project management.

Plant Genetics, Crop Germplasm Resources, Genomics, Molecular Biology, Marker-Assisted Breeding, Biostatistics, and Underutilized Crops.
